Happy New Year everyone. Wishing all the best for 2006. Great things will happen to all. Start with good thoughts and healthier mind set. Always think about the things that you want, not the opposite.

Happy New Year to you and all. The FD was a fun-filled one. thanks to all - tuan rumah, organiser, sponsors. even the twins enjoyed it - happy and well-behaved alhamdullillah. hope everyone can make the next time we have FD again.
Patani 1.1

The Malacca Ikan bakar made it even better and ended the new year on a delicious note. Too bad some couldn't make it. Everything was yummy, yummy, yummy!!!! Must hold 2X a year
Patani 6

Most Welcome. Twice a year can be a good idea. Most welcome to have them at my house again. Can include evening walk and star gazing and midnite supper (tahu bakar kat BTHO best.)
Next round, the Pond should be ready. We can have laksa penang by the fish pond.
Patani 4

Well! based from the feedbacks above & the pictures, we can proudly say that the AFD2005 was a great success for the Alpatanians indeed with 85% attendance. We r so sorry however that some were not able to attend especially to Hafiz & Faiz who are in Amsterdam Hospital at the moment, hopefully everything will be ok, we pray for Faiz's speedy recovery. The rest yg jauh dimata tapi dekat dihati....Uncle Man, Iman, Basyed, & those yg dekat di mata tetapi tak dapat attend due to other commitments, Uncle Pendi, Auntie Zaimah, Ocen, Ema & Batrisya (We r sorry about the water tank incident, hopefully everything is ok now) Tasya, Diyana, amin, izah, hana, hakim, rafeq, khairul & most importantly, CHIEF ALPATANI - Daddy dearest, we really miss semua orang punya presence.



DAY 1 (31st December, Saturday)

We were supposed to arrive with breakfast at 8.30am.....but as usuall laaaaa.....(anyway...the organizer - that's YOURS TRULY only managed to catch a sleep at 6.30am.....dok prepare for this function! So macam zombie, sampai at E&Z resort around 9.30am.....kira okaylaa tuu......Patani 6 & family dah dok bersantai waiting for the rest to arrive. Patani 1 arrived dgn anak cucu shortly after, followed by Patani 7 and the mischievous patani 7-S and kittos! (Got to keep an eye on this Patani 7-S everytime he goes near Patani 8-S) together with Patani 3-S & Patani 3.1.1

So we started with the makan makan session, macam-macam food! Ada lontong, ada fried macaroni, ada sandwiches, ada sardine rolls, ada kuih bakar, teloq pindang, and for the weight watchers - the salad & macam2 lagi laaa..(forgive me if i forget to mention food lain, coz i was bz with the prizes & last minutes contributions, tak sempat dok mengadap food, just sempat grab grab jelaah)

Lepas makan, next was the Treasure Hunt session for kids aged 5 - 34! Yup...it's not a typo error...u r seeing the right age there......These two "happy grown up kids" insisted that they should be included in the treasure hunt too..........! So depa ni pun dok terkial-kial just like other kids, the only difference is the younger & smaller treasure hunters are being assisted by Patani4 (No wonder semua answer sama!!!) I really had a great time laughing after seeing the answers to the treasure hunt!





hehe.....anyway, there was a tie between Patani 1.1, Patani 4.2, Patani 6.3 & Patani 7.1, among the questions asked this time was - "WHO PUT THE CAT IN THE WELL" in Ding Dong Bell, the nursery ryhme. He he.......semua dok try nyanyi...........The winner went to Patani 1.1 (actually tak aci....depa ni dah grown up ......nak lawan ngan bebudak umoq 5, 6 tawun!!) second place goes to Patani 4.1 - he was arguing that Tommy yg put the cat in the well not Johnny, so I did some research and confirm memang Johnny tu budak jahat yg p masukkan kucing tu dalam perigi tu) and third place went to Patani 6.3

Whilst the kids were at it, the older ones spent their time catching up on latest gossips - - erra fazira (ni mesti patani 7-s dengan patani 6-s dok cuba buat baik ngan patani 8-s ni, nak offer shoulder konon!!) ada yg dok main congkak, main batu sembat (alamak betoika that thing yg dok baling baling, dalam ada beras, macam bantal kecik tu??) yg dok main ngan babies & twinnies
, the maids dok bersidang kat dapoq exchanging notes (just hope not phone numbers ngan the contract workers tu dahh..)

tapi yg bestnya....depa ni kepenatan........cian.........heheh

The games & quiz session commenced soon after with Patani 6 being the Quiz Master with questions ranges from "how old Tok Ayah is" to "Alpatani mana yg perasan dia muda"!!

In the backdrop, Patani 7 assisted by the aspiring "bussiness women-to-be" Patani 7.1, Patani 6.3 & Patani 4.2, busy preparing for the "jumble sale cum auction" session. All the branded goods were auctioned off within minutes, even the maids pun tak mau ketinggalan. The jumble sale achieved the desired objectives, ie to expose the young alpatanians to business & entreprenuer world while having fun & most importantly - the proceed of sales was sufficient enough to cover our sumptous seafood dinner at Anjung Batu, Serkam Pantai later that evening!

The much hype car wash by Patani 7-S did not take place as planned to avoid any damper to our appetite for the sea food treat later in the evening!

Next was the much awaited session - the Lucky Draw. I guess everyone went home with at least something, even the maids were not spared from this. Among the Prizes were Camera, Electric broom, thumb drive, Avon products (THEY DONT ONLY SELL MAKEUP OK!) jigsaw puzzle, backpack, dinner set, mattresses and lots more to mention lah...There were also door gifts (and bukan calang-calang barang tau! Ada branded perfume & skincare, ada watch, ada lipstick) for the Alpatanians, kids & Maids.

After the prize giving sessions, off we went to Serkam Pantai, Melaka leaving behind the maids and babies (Patani 8.3 & Patani 8.4), too bad Patani 3-s, Patani 3.1.1, Patani 1.1, Patani 1.1-s, Patani 1.1.1(a) & (b) couldn't join us. We left around 6pm despite the heavy downpour and Alhamdulillah reached the seafood restaurant around 8.30pm.






The dinner was superb! Fresh crab, fish, sotong, prawns, vege & nasi lemak. (siap berposing depan kedai tu lagi) After dinner we left for KL to catch the firework and countdown of 2006. However we missed the fireworks by few minutes......managed to catch a glimpse of the firework from far for just a few minutes.....

We reached E&Z Resort around 12.30am, the kittos were asleep.........so we too proceeded to the next agenda of the day .....................zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

DAY 2 (1 January 2006)

A brand new day, a brand new year!

Patani 4-S pagi-pagi dah bangun with full semangat to ajak kita p jogging..............tapi later we couldn't found her anywhere kat the jogging area.....! rupanya sudah kena 'kidnapped' dengan Patani 4 untuk p market! so, just Yours truly with Patani 8-S, Patani 8.3 & Patani 8.4 dok p for a brisk walking and jogging kat that area......it was a beautiful morning, with beautiful scenery........

These two little patanians memang dok geram jee kat fish-fish dalam tu.......

Patani 1 dok bersilat kat dapoq cooking dalca for lunch. Later just in time for lunch, Patani 3 sampai -

Followed by Patani 2 & Patani 2-S a shortwhile after that. So, we had another sumptous lunch, dalca daging, sayoq, sambal tumis. Lepas makan, the IT Savvy Alpatanians dok exchanging notes, transferring data laa, songs laaa while Patani 2 dok crack his head doing the SUDOKU thingy which he frust sgt coz tak sempat be included in the AFD2005 agenda a day before!

Forgot to mention earlier that throughout the 2 days (besides the time when the games were conducted) the young Alpatanian boys & girls & 1 "imported" member from "Yahya Clan" glued themselves infront of the TV playing PS 2 and watching dvds kat atas......time makan baru depa ni muncul!

Patani 2 & Patani 2-S left around 4pm, later Patani 1 ajak yours truly & Patani 8-s pergi tengok rumah somewhere b4 Nilai, we came back around maghrib, it was raining cats & dogs outside, dare not drive back coz yours truly rabun malam(as we drove separately haritu tak muat nak masuk barang, kittos & maids)So the kind hosts insisted that we stay another nite and balik after jogging the next day! He he.....just about when we're discussing whether to stay or not, and what to eat for dinner .....suddenly the lights went off, la ni, baru nampak all the kittos upstairs, running down.....and duduk diam! So, the wannabe engineers dok mencari laaa apa yg caused the trip! aaahhh...my hero came to the rescue...hehehe! Malam tu, yours truly punya turn to cook la....later after makan, Wan Tony & family pulak arrived with satay pulak! So the children were having a real great time playing games and this time, Patani 4 pulak dah terjebak with that Soduku thingy!!!! We ended the day at almost midnite jugak........zzzzzzzzzzz

Day 3 (2 January 2006) - This was not supposed to be in the agenda!

Bangun, after breakfast (we had roti canai, tosey, porridge, cereals) baru finally we managed to complete agenda terakhir AFD2005 ie---BALIK RUMAH MASING-MASING..hehehe

Phewh....what a lengthy writeup of the event! But I guess (and hope) that everyone enjoyed themselves, really looking forward to having more gatherings of this sort & more jumble sales so that we can go makan seafood yg fully paid for again!

Finale, I would like to convey my "sincerest" appreciation & gratitude to
firstly, the Tuan & Puan Rumah & children who were very kind to let us have the AFD2005 at their home! Their warm hospitality made us rasa macam tak nak balik hehe..

Last but not least, kena thank MYSELF gaklaaa...for bersengkang mata dok prepare for this, thank you very much & sorry to my babies (Patani 8-S, Patani 8.1, Patani 8.2, Patani 8.3 & Patani 8.4) for "abandoning" them for about 2 days preparing this.
